Prologue; The Prophecy of the End-
Four gods cried together, the one time that they would be united. They cried because they were all newly aware of what was to become of them in the near future. The red-haired god, the blue-haired god, and the brown-haired goddess had never seen the raven-haired god cry before. He had gone through a lot, but the others had always seen him as an emotionless being. Knowing your death is coming soon and that you'll have to leave behind the ones who love you and the ones who you love is a lot to handle for one man, though, even if he is a god. By this time, the gods had all known several people. Their apprentices, their lovers, their children, even each other. Though they ruled different things and were supposed to hate one another, the four of them had grown to love each other.
All four of these gods had been invited to the palace of Sythweice, where Sythweice  himself had shown them all a very mystical and quite mysterious mirror. It was taller than any other mirror anyone had seen, and it was decorated with ornate silver carvings of earlier prophecies, and prophecies that had not been seen yet. This enchanted item was known as "the Mirror of Sythweice." It was not an ordinary mirror, but it was a mirror in which you can see your future. All four of the gods had seen their own death, but none could speak of their own, it was the law of the prophetic mirror.
"You must all say goodbye to your Semi. I know this is a very heartbreaking moment in your lives, but you cannot leave your Semi without saying goodbye to them." Sythweice said, his own voice cracking.
"It would be even harder for me if I had to see Hyqenh cry for me…" PuppetMaster shakily said under his breath. Ioijj, Milouwa, and Betstein all agreed.
"I couldn't bear to see Acussu crying for me. I've seen him cry before, but not for my sake." Ioijj cried.
"Meireu would be devastated… "Milouwa whispered.
The raven-haired god said nothing, but cried at the thought of losing his beloved Semi.

Chapter 1; Giving-
"Here, Betsurai. I want you to have this. It was mine, and I loved it. So I just hope you will love it like I did when I was a child." Betstein smiled down at his apprentice, the little girl with long black hair that he had known as his own daughter. The girl who wore his shirts and said "Look, Daddy! Betsurai be Betstein now! Roar, roar, roar!" The girl he had hated for being so… utterly stupid, but he had grown to love her, whether he showed it or not. He handed her a locket made of silver with a beautiful "B" carved into it with ornate designs around it. The girl took this locket from the man's dainty hands, and observed the fine details with her own eyes. She looked up, and caught the man looking at her sadly, his raven hair flowing slightly in the faint breeze. She quickly looked down at her bare feet, her own eyes filling with sorrow now.
"Daddy… Are you leaving Betsurai by herself?" The girl asked, her voice quavering. The girl had cried only once before, after her childhood best friend died protecting her. She didn't want to cry again, for she loved bringing laughter and happiness to peoples'  faces, not sadness. Betstein looked up into the sky, with the ultimate sadness hidden deep in his dark, almost black, brown eyes. The girl could see the moon reflected in his eyes. Tears formed in the eyes that ,to the girl, looked like black oceans of feelings unseen by everyone else. The man looked down and quickly wiped the tears from his eyes. "So, Daddy is leaving Betsurai…" The girl concluded miserably, looking at the river in front of them that ran motionless, reflecting the light of the stars and nearly full moon, and reflecting the darkness of the lonely sky beyond them. The two sat in silence for a long moment.
"Only for a while," The god finally said, patting the little girl's head lovingly, trying to appreciate his apprentice's soft, long, and beautiful black hair while he could. The girl's hair was like his own, only longer and messier, but --somehow-- still more beautiful than his own. He'd never told anyone, but Betstein envied the beauty of his apprentice's hair. That was one of the lesser details he'd miss about her. "I'll return to you, I promise." He lied, trying to save the girl from eternal sadness. He had to face the other direction, pretending to look at the sky, when really, he was trying to make sure the girl couldn't see him crying. Betstein's head whirled with thoughts. The vision of his death, the thought of leaving this girl by herself forever…
The girl punched Betstein in the side, smiling through her grief. "Now, Daddy, you have to keep that promise!" She ordered him. The god knelt down and hugged her tightly. He told her that he'd keep the promise, even if it meant him coming back broken and scarred. He said he'd keep the promise, even if he died. He told her he'd come back as a spirit. No matter what--he told her-- he'd come back to see her again. The girl and the god both cried on each other's shoulders as they embraced each other for the last time. When they let go and wiped away their tears, Betstein, without a word, kindly took the silver locket from Betsurai's small hands and put it around her neck. He whispered three last words to his favorite little girl in the whole world as he stood up and left her.
"Don't forget me."
I know, short-ass chapters, shuddup.
